The dry contact module is mainly used in building control systems and is installed together with other devices on the bus to form a system. It offers simple and intuitive operation, allowing users to plan and systematically execute these functions according to their needs.
The dry contact module's general interface functions are implemented through standard buttons or switches, using binary technology for communication. It is primarily used to control actuator devices such as dimmers and relays, indirectly controlling various household appliances. Additionally, the general interface can also be used to control LEDs.
The input interface of the dry contact module is used to connect standard switch panels or sensors with dry contact output types, supporting up to 8 channels, converting them into smart control signals. The module features LED indication with up to 8 channels of traditional LED indication output control. This allows the real-time display of the status of the lighting circuits on the panel (the connected switch panel must have LED indication connection functionality, and the dry contact LED lead is only for 3.3V switch panel LED lights), using a common cathode connection method.
The dry contact module is a standard 86 bottom box installation device with 8-channel output. It connects to the EIB/KNX system via the EIB bus and uses the Engineering Tool Software (ETS) (version ETS4 or above) for assigning physical and group addresses and setting parameters.
The dry contact module connects directly to the bus through terminal connections without requiring additional power voltage. Each channel of the dry contact module can utilize the described functions independently.
The dry contact module, combined with LED panels, can achieve the following functions:
1. Can be used for switching lights, opening and closing curtains, and raising and lowering projection screens, with long press, short press, and toggle functions;
2. Can control dimming devices, offering both relative and absolute dimming output functions;
3. Can send fixed values for dimming and curtain control;
4. Supports 8-bit scene control, calling preset scene functions;
5. Features LED indication with multiple display states such as always on, always off, and flashing;
6. Includes LED interlock grouping and LED brightness adjustment functions;
7. Status LEDs have brightness wake-up and delay-off functions, with wake-up conditions such as button press or object trigger;
1. I/O dry contact wiring communication distance: less than 10m;
2. LED lead is only for 3.3V.
